A couple of hours ago, the Worlds tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, was inaugurated with much pomp and pyrotechnics. Built by those whose Bedouin ancestors not more than a century ago were shepherds of goats and camels. Who would have believed it? Some see it as a decadent statement in times of financial meltdown, others look at it competitively in materialistic jealousy, others have nationalistically touted it as the legacy of the Pyramid of Giza, whilst others have described its aesthetic haughtiness to that of the Tower of Babel. But sober Believers see it as yet another Sign that the Hour is fast approaching. You can almost sense the inevitability of it all. Just as Angel Gabriel said, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did indeed speak the truth. Be sure of it.
